Yahoo has begun shutting down some of its digital magazines as part of the struggling online pioneer's latest reorganization plan. In a blog post Wednesday, Yahoo global editor in chief Martha Nelson announced plans to start phasing out some operations as it focuses on connecting with readers for news, sports, finance and lifestyle. "To that end, today we will begin phasing out the following digital magazines: Yahoo Food, Yahoo Health, Yahoo Parenting, Yahoo Makers, Yahoo Travel, Yahoo Autos and Yahoo Real Estate," Nelson said.
