Toyota Australia says an issue with the seatbelts in about 98,000 RAV4 vehicles has prompted the company to issue a recall. Vehicles built between August 2005 and November 2012 could have an issue with both outboard seat belts of the second row seats, Toyota Australia says in a statement on Thursday. Part of the seat belt could possibly be damaged in a high-speed frontal collision and may not restrain the occupant "which could increase the risk of injury", the company said.
