Toyota Australia has announced the recall of close to 98,000 RAV4 vehicles after an issue was detected with their seatbelts. Vehicles built between August 2005 and November 2012 could have an issue with both outboard seat belts of the second row seats, Toyota Australia said in a statement on Thursday. There is a possibility part of the seat belt could be damaged in a high-speed frontal collision and may not restrain the occupant "which could increase the risk of injury", the company said.
