Automotive Holdings posted a first half net profit of $48.2 million, up from $45 million a year ago. AHG managing director Bronte Howson told AAP he was "pretty pleased" with the results and that the company was on track to achieve between $97 million and $103 million profit for the full year. The biggest challenge to logistics came in December, Mr Howson said, when a derailment occurred along the train line between east and western Australia.
