Brisbane's peak-hour rush is paralysing key arterial roads much earlier than it was just five years ago, the state's peak motoring body says. Data released by RACQ on Friday shows the Pacific Motorway now experiences the heaviest inbound traffic flow at 5am - compared to 6am in 2010. "What that means is tens of thousands more motorists are leaving earlier and earlier every day to try to miss the gridlock that congestion brings," RACQ spokesman Paul Turner said.
